Make a difference in a 5th Grader's Big Idea! Become a PYP Exhibition Mentor! Looking for a fun, meaningful way to get involved with Powe students? Volunteer as a mentor for our 5th graders as they take on their IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Exhibition--the exciting capstone project where students explore real-world issues they care about and turn their curiosity into learning and action!

As a mentor, you'll meet with a small group of students to encourage their ideas, ask thought-provoking questions, help them research reliable sources, and cheer them on as their projects take shape. No special expertise required--just curiosity, encouragement, and a willingness to help kids think big!

Mentors ideally meet with their groups weekly on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 12:45-1:30 p.m., with a minimum commitment of twice a month during those time slots.
