We are again meeting on Oval Drive at the tennis courts. The meeting time is 7:25 and we will roll out at 7:35. Riding bikes or walking to school gives kids a great start to the day by getting them awake and alert and gets the blood flowing so they are more prepared to learn and participate in class. It also gets kids more familiar with their neighborhood and builds a sense of autonomy and responsibility.   Having more people biking and walking also makes other traffic more careful and makes the streets safer for everyone, especially our children.

As usual, If you can't make it to the starting point or it is out of your way feel free to join at any point along the route. Carolina Ave at Englewood is a good spot if you are coming from that way. If time permits there is often a coffee meet up for parents at The Common Market on Green St. Come by, have a coffee, and talk about local goings on and ways to improve our school and neighborhood!
